Trinidad
Trinidad, the city stopped in the time or city-museum as it is also known, will make you go back in time and feel as if you were in a Spanish colonial city in the 18th century. Founded in the second decade of the 16th century, is one of the eldest villages in the whole American continent. In Trinidad, a city built between the sea and the mountains, the signs of modernity have found their space without depriving it of its hallmark of authentic colonial village. Because of its fantastic architecture and its historical and cultural values Trinidad was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
